Xeromax Sciences pitches at China Lake High Tech Consortium Dual-use Technology Conference on the BYU campus
Provo, Utah – May 5, 2009
Xeromax Sciences had the opportunity to pitch in front of several military technology commercialization and research directors for the US Military and various Universities at the 2009 US Military China Lake High Tech Consortium Dual-use Technology Conference that was held on the BYU Campus. The event was attended by a select group of local Venture Capitalists as well. “The opportunity to promote our technology in front of a group of research minds for the US military was invaluable.
Several individuals expressed interest in what we are doing” said Chris Bryant, Founder and CEO of Xeromax Sciences. The conference was put on by the US Navy’s China Lake Research and Development labs. The intent was to introduce the Navy to new and innovative technologies being developed for commercial purposes that could be applicable for military purposes. In all, 14 different companies/researchers presented their technologies at the conference.
China Lake carries out the complete development process from basic and applied research through prototype hardware fabrication, test and evaluation, documentation, and Fleet and production support. China Lake is home to approximately 4,400 civilian employees and about 1,000 military personnel and is supported by over 1,500 contractor employees.
