Waterproof Coating Logo

DWR For Textiles.
Nanotechnology That Lasts.

Xeromax's patent-pending technology converts any fabric into a superhydrophobic, water repelant textile, while maintaining all other material characterisitcs. And unlike other DWR technologies, after one treatment the fabric will maintain its hydrophobicity for the lifetime of the fabric.

Company Information

Xeromax Sciences is a technology leader in the fabrics and textiles field.  Xeromax owns the licensing rights to a patent-pending superhydrophobic Durable Water Repellent (DWR) technology known as Hydrapel.  The applications of Hydrapel are varied, ranging from waterproof breathable clothing, to interior products such as stain resistant rugs, to waterproof iPod cases.

Customer Pain

Xeromax’s technology was invented in 2007 to solve the problem of non-permanent DWR waterproofing technologies.  Current technologies, like Teflon or Gore-tex, wear off after a relatively few number of uses.  This upsets customers, who then force manufacturers to carry heavy warranty guarantees.  Multiple repairs and warranties are costly and diminish brand reputations.  Xeromax’s superhydrophobic coating is a one-time application that lasts as long as the fabric fibers themselves.

The Xeromax Solution

Our technology solves both the customer pain and the manufacturer’s pain.  Customers know that they will always be dry, and manufacturer’s can better deliver on their value proposition while keeping costs low.  Customers and manufacturers alike have expressed discontent with current waterproof technologies.  The market is ripe for innovation and Xeromax is the firm that is accomplishing it.

Investor Opportunity

Xeromax is actively seeking partnerships and additional brands to add to its growing portfolio.  We sublicense our brand and technology to various OEMs, materials manufacturers and fiber manufacturers.  We welcome your questions and interest in our product licenses and services. Please feel free to contact us any time.
